RESEARCH MAIN SUBJECTS
Design of reinforced concrete shell elements simultaneously loaded with in-plane internal forces, bending and twisting moments and shear, using an original theory, developed during the PhD course. A three-dimensional non-linear constitutive model has been developed.
Sectional analysis of reinforced and prestressed concrete beams, with arbitrary cross-section, with or without stirrups, subjected to axial forces, bending and shear.
Structural dynamics; model of seismic loads for the stochastic dynamic analysis of structures, using uncertainty modelling and probabilistic methods.
